I’ve seen images of Yellowstone my whole life, haven’t you?

It’s amazing how powerful it is to be there! Here are some images from our visit:

Here’s another spectacular place that we visited on our Western parks road trip.

This is Johnston Canyon, located in Canada’s Banff National Park. It’s about halfway between the towns of Banff and Lake Louise.

It’s beautiful!

So, we decided to take a road trip this year.

We just drove 35 hours in an RV with our cats, from Cleveland to Canmore, Alberta (in the Canadian Rockies). We did the drive in 2.5 days.

What a different experience to drive through all the places you miss when flying 30,000 feet above the Earth. I suppose a comparison would be walking through a neighborhood to observe the details, as opposed to driving past with your eyes on the road.
